Faith is not a feeling.

Faith becomes real when you move before you feel ready, trust the step, and learn through lived experience.

Faith is not a feeling.

I have always been told to "have faith"... like it's something you conjure up inside yourself and FEEL…

But I dont think it works like that…

Faith is just action.

You don't prove you trust a chair by thinking about it or feeling good about it... you prove it by sitting down. The action IS the faith.

Most people say they have faith, as if they FEEL FAITH…

People say “I KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE” and say it as if they FEEL it is true…

That's not how it works. The only way to truly KNOW something is to EXPERIENCE it...

A lot of people "know how to get fit" but they dont actually KNOW it...

It is like when the bible talks about KNOWING a woman, it aint saying, "he knew her name"...

Here is what I am talking about...

Moses didn't feel ready when God told him to go back to Egypt. He literally argued with God about it... said he couldn't talk right, said nobody would listen, said pick someone else. He had every doubt a man could have. BUT… he had FAITH AKA: he went anyway.

Abraham didn't feel peace when God told him to go walk out into the desert and leave all he had…

BUT… he had FAITH AKA: he went anyway.

I have always wondered how these scriptural heroes created such massive FAITH… and I think it’s pretty simple.

It happened over a lifetime of…

1. Hoping something was true but having doubts. 2. Having FAITH (TAKING ACTION) 3. Experiencing the outcome…

That's the process. You get a pull toward something... you doubt it... you do it anyway... and on the other side you know something you didn't know before. Not because someone told you or because it feels nice. Because you lived it.

This is the process that got these men to the point where they could walk up to a river and say, yeah let’s just keep walking, God will take care of it.

Or to say, yeah I will go ahead and sacrifice my first born son…

Their willingness to TRUST and GO at that level came after a lifetime of trusting and GOING on thousands of small promptings throughout life.

Next time you FEEL like you need more FAITH…

Just realize that FEELING only comes AFTER DOING…

It comes from EXPERIENCING the outcome, not feeling good about the process.
